Grandparents Week
We welcome all grandparents (or special persons) to have lunch with their grandchild during the week of Sept. 22nd-26th! Please see the grade level schedule below. Grandparents will be able to eat lunch in the cafeteria with their grandchild and then go shopping at our Book Fair on the stage! Grandparents can choose to either bring in food or buy food from our school cafeteria. Adult Lunches cost $4.50 per person. Simply have your student return this RSVP form by Sept. 19th

Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school! This is a great opportunity to connect with your child over the thrill of bringing home new books to dive into again and again. Studies show that kids read more when they choose books for themselves. And fostering a love of independent reading leads to a wide variety of benefits—including academic success and improved mental health.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Book Fair:

eWallet: CLICK HERE to setup an ewallet
While you’re there, set up a Book Fair eWallet, the digital payment account that allows your child to shop for books at the Fair without cash. Then share your eWallet link so friends and extended family can add funds. When you fund an eWallet, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a giving initiative called Share the Fair. Your contributions directly support our students who need help buying books from the Fair. Many of us still remember the rush of finding the perfect book at a Scholastic Book Fair. I hope you’ll join your child at our school’s Fair and share a reading experience they’ll remember forever. Every purchase at the Fair benefits our school!
PaySchools
Our school uses PaySchools as our online platform for all payments, including school fees, breakfast/lunch payments, preschool tuition payments, etc. Please call our school office if you have any difficulty setting up your account.
Online Attendance Reporting
Parents now have the ability to report a student’s absence online rather than calling the school on the phone. This link can be found on our LCE Website or you can bookmark this tab so it is easily accessible when needed.
Annual Update of Student Forms
All returning families will need to update their Student Information before the first day of school. To access the returning student forms please CLICK HERE or visit our school website under the “How Do I” Tab. You will need to enter the 15-digit SnapCode that was sent to your email address. This MUST be completed before the first day of school so that we can have accurate contact information for each student. If you need to modify forms that were already submitted after 8/1/24, simply use your username and password. If you do not know your SnapCode, please contact our school office.
