Thursday (3/19): Hat Day

Spring Break Reminder

Spring Break will take place March 23rd–27th. We hope our LCE families enjoy a safe, relaxing, and fun break!

Please also note that there is No School on Friday, April 3rd in observance of Good Friday.

We look forward to seeing everyone back at school after the break refreshed and ready for a strong finish to the school year!

Penny Wars

LCE will be hosting a Penny Wars competition between grade levels all this week to raise money for Lions Reach Out! Lions Reach Out is a local organization that helps support families and individuals in our community by providing assistance with basic needs such as food, clothing, and other essential resources.

Students can bring in coins and bills throughout the week to help their grade level raise money for this great cause. The grade level that raises the most money will win a donut party! Thank you for helping us support our community while having some fun along the way.

✅ How Families Can Help Students Prepare

You can support your child by:

💤 Ensuring they get a good night’s sleep

🍳 Providing a healthy breakfast

⏰ Making sure they arrive on time

💧 Sending a water bottle

📚 Encouraging daily reading at home

➕ Practicing math facts and problem-solving

💬 Offering positive encouragement and reassurance

The most important thing students can do is try their best and take their time. Our teachers have worked hard all year preparing students with the skills they need to be successful.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to help our students shine!
