It’s almost the most magical week of the year!! Our Santa Shop (sponsored by the LCE PTO) is a wonderful program that gives students the opportunity to do their holiday shopping “on their own” with adult supervision, choosing from a variety of gifts priced under $10. Our PTO is looking for cheerful, energetic parent volunteers to help our students choose special gifts for the people they love. If you can lend a little time, we can guarantee big smiles, joyful moments, and plenty of holiday cheer. Your support helps make this tradition truly unforgettable for our kids, and we appreciate you for bringing a little extra magic to the season. |

As we move into the colder winter months, please make sure your child comes to school dressed appropriately for the weather. Please consider dressing students in warm coats, hats, gloves, and closed-toe shoes—Crocs and sandals are not suitable for winter conditions and should not be worn on school days.
Below are our guidelines for recess during these cold winter months:
Wind Chill of 20°F or above: Recess is held outdoors, provided students are dressed appropriately.
Wind chill between 10°F and 19°F: Outdoor recess may still be allowed but for shorter durations (e.g., 10–15 minutes), ensuring students are properly dressed.
Wind chill below 10°F: Recess is generally held indoors, as exposure to cold at this level increases the risk of frostbite, especially if students are not adequately bundled up.
Thank you for helping us keep all students safe, warm, and ready for a great day of learning!
