We are excited to share that two outstanding fourth graders, Reese Dryden and Noa Nave, were honored with the Leading Lion Award at this month’s Board Meeting. Back in September, Reese and Noa showed tremendous initiative by starting a Kindness Club at Locust Corner. They even secured their own advisor, Mrs. Davis, who graciously agreed to support their vision. Their goal was simple but powerful—to inspire a movement of kindness throughout our school. The club now meets monthly and continues to grow as more students join their mission. Reese and Noa bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a heartfelt commitment to making LCE a place where every student feels welcomed and valued. |

Families and friends are invited to join us for this heartwarming holiday performance filled with songs, laughter, and fun! Performers should arrive by 6:15 PM. We can’t wait to see you there! If you have any questions, please contact our Music Director, Ms. Sarah Swango, at swango_s@nrschools.org. |

We are excited to announce the return of the PTO Santa Shop to LCE from December 8th–12th! This wonderful program gives students the opportunity to do their holiday shopping “on their own” with adult supervision, choosing from a variety of gifts priced under $10. To help make this event a success, we are collecting donations of Holiday Gift Bags (all sizes), Holiday Wrapping Paper, Gift Tags, and Scotch Tape. Donations can be dropped off in the school office or sent in with students at any time. If you would like to volunteer, please email the PTO at LCEPTO@nrschools.org. Thank you for your continued support in making this special tradition possible for our students! |
