Parent/Teacher Conferences

Our Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on October 9th, 10th, & 16th. All conferences will be in-person at Locust Corner Elementary School in your child's classroom. To register for a conference time, please use the following link: https://www.ptcfast.com/schools/LCE. Scheduling begins on Friday, Sept. 26th at 12PM. If you are unable to meet in-person, please contact your child's teacher to set up a virtual conference online. Your child's teacher will then send you a link to join the conference virtually through Google Meet. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher or our school office.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the wonderful grandparents who joined us for Grandparents Week 2025! We were thrilled to welcome 334 grandparents to Locust Corner Elementary to spend time with their grandchildren and enjoy our book fair. Your love, support, and involvement make such a positive impact on our school community.

We are also thrilled to share that our recent fundraiser brought in an amazing $7,732.50! Your generosity directly supports our students by helping fund student incentives, playground equipment, classroom materials, and other school initiatives that make Locust Corner Elementary such a special place to learn and grow. Thank you for your continued support and for helping our school community shine!

No School Reminders

Our school will be closed on Friday, October 10 for Parent/Teacher Conferences. We will also be closed on Friday, October 17 for a Teacher Workday.

Picture Retake Day

If you missed our Fall Picture Day or were unhappy with your child’s photos, there will be another opportunity for pictures during our Picture Retake Day on Oct. 21st. More information will be coming soon from McIntire Photography.

4th Grade Art Club

Our Art Club is open to all 4th Grade students this semester on a first come, first serve basis. A maximum of 18 students will be accepted and registration begins on 10/8/25. Students MUST have a ride home and be able to be picked up at school by 4:45PM. There will be NO bus transportation home. Chipotle Fundraiser- Support our PTO!

Make dinner easy and support our Locust Corner Elementary PTO at Chipotle on Monday, October 13, from 5–9 PM at 1227 W. Ohio Pike in Amelia. Show the flyer or use the online code DRJRCCK when ordering pickup, and 25% of event sales will be donated back to our school!

Pay Schools

Our school uses PaySchools as the online platform for all payments, including school fees, breakfast/lunch accounts, preschool tuition, and more. If you need assistance setting up your account, please contact the school office.

Absence Reporting

Parents can now report a student’s absence online—no need to call the school. The link is below and also available on the LCE Website, and you may also bookmark the page for quick and easy access whenever needed.
