Our Mobile Dentist will be visiting our school on February 5th and 6th to provide dental care for students. Families who are interested can enroll online using the link below, which is a quick and easy way to submit consent, or they may return a paper consent form. We strongly encourage families to use the online option when possible. Forms should ideally be submitted at least three weeks prior to the visit. We are excited to offer Art Club for our 5th grade students this semester! This club is open to all 5th graders on a first come, first served basis, with a maximum of 18 students accepted. Families may sign up using this form. Art Club will meet after school on January 20 & 27; February 10, 17, & 24; and March 10. Please note that students must have a ride home and be picked up at school by 4:45 PM, as there will be no bus transportation available. Our 1st and 2nd graders will take the stage for their winter musical, How to Train Your Reindeer (To Fly), on Thursday, January 15 at 6:30 PM in the LCE cafeteria. Families and friends are invited to join us for this heartwarming holiday performance filled with songs, laughter, and fun! Performers should arrive by 6:15 PM. We can’t wait to see you there! Report Cards & MAP Reports |
Report cards for the 2nd quarter will be sent home with students on Friday, January 9th. Along with report cards, families will also receive Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing reports, which show each student’s academic growth from fall to winter. MAP assessments are given 3 times per year—fall, winter, and spring—to help us measure student progress over time. Students in Kindergarten and Grade 1 are assessed in math only, Grade 2 students are assessed in reading and math, and students in Grades 3–5 are assessed in reading, math, and science. If you have any questions about your child’s report card or MAP results, please contact your child’s teacher. |
